Urban Drift Figoo S1 Electric Bike Review
The Urban Drift Figoo S1 electric bike punches above its weight with surprising power and versatility. This affordable electric bike delivers speed, torque, and premium features you wouldn't expect for under $1000.
Overview of the Urban Drift Figoo S1
At the heart of the Figoo S1 is a 750 watt hub motor that propels it to 30 mph via throttle and 27 mph on pedal assist. This gives it class-leading acceleration and hill climbing compared to other ebikes in its budget price range.
Despite the power, it maintains a comfortable upright position thanks to swept-back handlebars. Front suspension and 4" fat tires soak up bumps on rough terrain. The rear rack, front basket, and bell give it a versatile utilitarian design.
Power and Speed of the Figoo S1
The Figoo S1's power is its biggest advantage. The 750W motor provides incredible torque and speed for under $1000. It hits 30 mph via throttle and 27 mph on pedal assist - much faster than competitors.
It can climb 26% grade hills from a standstill and averaged 26 mph over a 2 mile canyon climb. In range testing, it achieved 17 miles range and 1466 feet elevation gain at a 26 mph pace.
Comfort and Versatility
Despite its trail riding power, the Figoo S1 doesn't sacrifice comfort or versatility. Its swept-back handlebars and front suspension provide a smooth ride. The 4" fat tires and front basket allow riding on trails or urban streets.
Drawbacks
A few downsides exist like soft front suspension and messy welds. Also, the pedal assist lacks nuance between settings. But overall, the Figoo S1 is an incredible value ebikke under $1000.
